Emory was getting in the Gamecock spirit at home while we were packing our bags...
Helping baby put her "pat" (paci) in...
We were a little worried about how Emory would handle 10 hours in the car, but thank the Lord for DVD players!!! She watched Dora, Bernstein Bears, Miss Spider and Hermie about 20 times each...and if I have to listen to any of those again I'm going to shoot myself!
We don't have any pets, but we still had to stop and "walk" Emory every so often so she could use a little of her energy. :)
And Aaron obviously doesn't value the life of his wife or his daughter much, as this is what he did the whole time, while driving!
A long day in the car makes for a tired baby...so tired that she doesn't even wake up while I'm changing her clothes...
We spent the next day at Tampa Bay Downs watching the horse races. We didn't have much luck gambling, but we had a good time.

Then we headed to downtown Ybor City and watched the parade. It's unfortunate that my 18 month old already knows the "real" way to get those beads. What bad aunts!
Santa brought Emory a USC cheerleading outfit. She looked super cute. :)
After the most boring game ever, we went to eat dinner and found the best place that was a bowling alley & restaurant. The food was actually great and the bowling was really fun. However, I might be the worst bowler ever. I rock at Wii bowling, but apparently those skills have nothing to do with real bowling.
Aaron and Jo were rubbing in how great they were, while I pouted that I didn't knock down a single pin AGAIN!
