'Twas The Night Before Christmas...

...and Mommy was up to her eyeballs in finishing Christmas Eve lunch, wrapping last minute gifts and packing up for our whirlwind of a day on Christmas! In between all of that, we managed to host Aaron's family for lunch. Emory wanted to not only help pass the presents out, but she also felt it was her job to open each of them! Luckily, no one seemed to mind that it took about 10 times as long to unwrap each gift. :)
Helping Aunt Alison open her gift...Opening her (soon-to-be-favorite) gift from Uncle Ryan, Aunt Mary & Wendy...A bowling set, complete with a cow head "bowling ball" and milk jug "pins"! The ball mooo's as you roll it, and she loves it!
As if giving a great gift didn't already make him her favorite uncle, he's feeding her tiramisu!
After racing to get a nap, clean up and change into church clothes, we headed to mass (late of course), then to dinner, then back to our house with my family to have dessert, drinks and open our Christmas ornaments. Emory also got to open her gifts from Aunt Kat. Her fave: the little Curious George toy that was on the top of a bottle of bubbles. My fave: a precious Mikey Stars outfit!! Yes, Michael Stars makes baby clothes and they are adorable! Thanks Aunt Kat!

Trying on her Mikey Stars leggings...
After my family left, Emory had her milk, left a glass of the same for Santa, chose a few chocolate treats to leave out for he and the reindeer and headed to bed...in hopes that she had been good enough for Santa to stop by!
