Two Months and a Laugh

Another month has flown by and Baby Boy is now two months old!
We fall more in love with our big, brown-eyed boy each and every day.
He's still much more high maintenance than Emory was, but we're definitely on a little schedule now, and that helps a lot.
He's a chunkster at 12 pounds (50th percentile).
He's still wearing a size 1 diaper, but he's sportin' some 3- and 6-month outfits already!
He was evicted from Mommy and Daddy's room and has slept in his big boy crib for two nights.
Mommy has had a difficult time sleeping with him so far away... and has instead stayed up staring at the video monitor.
He's consistently sleeping through his 2am feeding, but we're working on eliminating his 11pm feeding.
A few weeks ago he began smiling, and now he grins nonstop!
Big Sister can make him smile better than anyone else.
She continues to be mesmerized by her little brother, and if anyone come close to look at him, she guards him and says "Das my baby brudder.".
Quite often when I pick Emory up from school her teacher tells me Emory has been asking where her "Baby Watson" is all morning. She simply adores him.

Aaron and I have been so lucky to have had a few date days thanks to Grandmama, Granddaddy, Mimi and Papa. While we love spending time with the kiddos, we've definitely needed to step away and recharge every so often. We were able to see a movie, hang out with friends at the Oyster Festival and eat a few meals without cutting things up into teeny tiny bite-sized pieces. It. Was. Bliss. Thank you grandparents!

And if you need a little laugh today, please take a look at Emory's school picture we just got back earlier this week.
Daddy says she looks like an Evil Ragamuffin.
We have NEVER seen this smile before! Aaron and I have laughed and laughed and laughed about this picture. We were in agreement that this isn't the best picture of Baby Girl, but decided it was definitely worth the $25 to buy the picture (you can buy the digital image nowadays...fancy!) to torment her with when she gets older. Feel free to bookmark this page to come back to when you're having a bad day. You can't help but laugh!
Remember this? For some reason, she isn't very photogenic while at school!
