Five Months Old

This month my teeny tiny {relatively speaking!} newborn seems to have turned into a toddler! I know he's not really quite there, but between his physical growth and new awareness, he seems so old! He has never had any trouble voicing his opinion, and for two days straight he was adamant that he didn't want to sit by the bear. He finally laid there to take a bottle, so this was the best picture I could get.

He is now able to sit up on his own and loves to play with his big sister on the floor in his room. He has gotten good at reaching out for a toy and bringing it back to his lap. EVERYTHING goes into his mouth these days, which is so new to me, because Emory never had any interest in chewing on anything. Our house has never been baby-proofed, because we didn't need it with Em, and we're quickly learning that Watson is total "boy" in this aspect and we better start baby-proofing FAST!

He still doesn't love to roll over, but can easily do so. He wakes himself up a few times when he first goes down for bed by rolling over.

He seems to be quickly growing out of his clothing and he's almost out of most of his 3-6 month outfits.

He loves to talk and laugh these days! Jumping in his jumper, playing peek-a-boo and singing with his sister all bring about lots of giggles.

He is the sweetest little man and as sensitive as they come. Hearing Em cry upsets him beyond belief.

While he is still a little on the "high-maintenance" side, we love his sweet little personality and what he adds to our family!
