another week of summer in the books. another week of chaos. of the kids needing to be entertained 24/7. when is school gonna start?!?
Saturday morning we snuggled in the bed to watch cartoons. then we headed out for a family walk and bike ride to get coffee. we always have to stop and count daddy’s pull-ups on our way.
and Watson practiced riding downhill…starting small…with a handicap ramp.
I got some fun new vintage fabric in the mail for some ready-to-ship items for the shop….
and a new vintage bubble…coming soon to the shop…
It’s never too early to start party planning for Baby Girl’s first birthday! And, really, two months in advance isn’t all that early. Cute, gold cake toppers arrived in the mail today!
Anna West loves to play with my nail polish. Girl after my own heart.
We’ve watched Disney’s Teen Beach Movie no less than 10 times since it premiered just a week ago. Emory knows every word to every song. And most every other word of the movie as well. I think it’s about time she got an iPod…with headphones!
The rule with the boys is that no one tattles unless there is blood. Well Boland came to me with a bleeding lip after his sweet brother pistol whipped him across the face. At least he understands the rules!
Baby Girl has found some new little hiding spots lately. Today it was under her highchair. Safe from her crazy brothers and sister running through the house, yet still a good view…
After feeding the kids an early dinner, we loaded back in the golf cart and took an evening ride while we enjoyed popsicles…
Once the kiddos were down, Aaron and I had a late dinner. Seared flounder with ‘bacony’ corn. So good!
We met friends at the pool for the afternoon after Emory had been at camp the entire morning. The kids were officially worn out!
Boland tends to stick close to the pool steps or play outside the pool altogether. Today it was pushing his batman diving toy in the stroller.
Another summer meal. Avocado toast, tomatoes and cucumbers for lunch.
Another dress posted in the shop!
A quick {and uncomfortable} nap in the exersaucer.
My little barista…
Watson enjoyed a relaxing morning of a smoothie and a pedicure courtesy of his big sister. Then he immediately freaked out that his daddy wouldn’t like his toenails painted and he quickly wiped the polish off while making Emory promise not to tell on him.
All dressed up but no place to go…
Aunt Kat and Aunt Boo took the big kids to the pool while I ran some errands. Underwater pictures were taken!
Another fun-filled week of summer! Now the countdown to school is ON!
