This post {and our fun-filled weekend}... brought to you by Baby Zantac.
Baby Boy's 2-week check-up (which was actually at 3 weeks) revealed 2 things:
1. He now weighs 9 pounds 9 ounces. Baby Girl weighs 22 pounds 8 ounces. How is it that a 3-week-old weighs almost half of what a 27-month-old does?!?!? Crazy.
2. He has a bad case of acid reflux, which is the cause of his non-stop crying and spitting up, which is the cause of many-a-sleepless-night for momma and daddy. Praise the Lord for Baby Zantac, which has turned this...
...into this.
As we started eliminating Baby Boy's pain, we were able to actually relax and have some fun! I took the kids out for some exercise a leisurely walk. Emory insisted on wearing sunglasses like Mommy. And taking a juice box since Mommy had a water bottle.
She wanted to help push Watson's stroller as well.
Aaaaaah...a sweet, sleeping baby boy!
Saturday the kids and I headed to a Halloween party. Baby Girl is so very good at entertaining herself. That is a wonderful quality when we're at home and I'm trying to get something done around the house. It's not such a great quality when we're at a party. Emory played by herself in one room...
...while everyone else played in the other!
She was lured into the group by a pumpkin cupcake and a juice box.
After fun snacks, Sallie and Emory put together a skeleton craft on the floor.

Emory has proudly displayed her skeleton on the refrigerator, and everytime she passes it, she says "I made dat. Scaaaaawy!" {I made that. Scary!} Sunday we celebrated Callie's First Birthday!
Miss Emory {with help from Miss Erin} provided the music.
While Miss Callie waited for her birthday cupcake...
...Miss Emory was chowing down on a cupcake which she helped herself to without anyone noticing.
We sang 'Happy Birthday'...
...and watched the Birthday Girl dig in.
Watson was well taken care of by Mr. Travis.
Callie opened presents.
And took her new wagon outside for a test drive.
Emory chased the Birthday Girl until she was allowed to get in and ride along.
Then Henry wanted in on the fun...only to decide moments later that he wanted out.
Miss Emory {with help from Miss Erin} provided the music.
