Our Easter Sunday {the rest}

Baby Girl and Baby Boy woke up to Easter baskets filled to the brim! Emory couldn’t believe the Easter Bunny actually came!! Watson was actually just as excited to see his goodies. Emory loved her new “dray-ess”. And Watson got so enamored by the gifts in his basket that he lost his balance and took everything down with him! I love how he was checking out his caterpillar {bottom right}! As is tradition, Baby Boy got to nibble on the chocolate bunny left in his basket. He didn’t quite know what to think at first, but quickly realized how wonderful it was! He’s his mama’s boy! This is what Em though of her baby brother drooling over the chocolate. If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a hundred times. Drama. Queen. Emory is OBSESSED with puzzles right now. She couldn’t have been more excited to see a handful of puzzles in her Easter basket. She put together he life-size Ariel puzzle about 25 times in the first 24 hours. After church, pictures on the beach, and lunch, we headed back to the beach house for an egg hunt. Emory raced Granddaddy to get to the eggs first! While she loved finding the eggs, she would get a little sidetracked when she saw a flower {don’t tell her most are weeds!}. She would look at it, say “oooh, a flower!”, pick it, smell it, bring it to me to smell, then carry it around until she found another. What a girly girl! She found all of the eggs and then plopped down in the middle of the den to look over their contents. She was so excited to find a little candy in most {I filled the eggs with candy from her basket of treats at home…most of which is leftover Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day or birthday party candy!}, but when one would turn up empty, she would say, “Awwww, da birdie got dat one!”. 

We had a wonderful Easter and enjoyed another few days at the beach since we’re on Spring Break. The weather was PERFECT and we can’t wait to get back to the beach for the summer! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter as well!
