And another month has gone by! Make it stop!
Boland-You are the absolute sweetest thing around. You still sleep much of the day away, but when you’re awake, you’re happy and content so long as you can see what’s going on around you. Last month you began smiling, and this month you’ve started to giggle. We’ve always called your Big Brother ‘Stonewall Watson’ since it takes so much effort to get him to smile or laugh, but you’re the exact opposite! You laugh often and it’s a big ‘ole belly laugh.
You continue to be a great eater. You still eat once, sometimes twice, during the night, but you go back to sleep quickly. You do well stretching your daytime feedings, which is probably the reason you’re still waking at night, but it seems to work for our schedule right now. I really should start you on some cereal, but I’m not quite ready to start that yet.
You don’t love to be on your tummy, so we’ve been practicing when we can and you’re tolerating it better lately. You’ve managed to figure out how to roll from your belly to back, though, and that gets you tired quite easily.
You continue to love your lovey, and all it takes is laying your lovey by your cheek for you to fall asleep. You received two more of the exact same lovies for your Valentines Day treat because I forsee you dragging one around in the coming years, and we’ve learned the hard way that we should have a few to rotate!
Emory and Watson continue to adore you. Emory calls you ‘Buddy Bo’ {she’s always called Watson ‘Buddy Boy’} and Watson calls you Bo Bo. The rare times when you’re fussy, both are good at bringing you a lovey or paci, making some funny faces to get you to smile, or simply saying ‘don’t cry!’.
You’ve had a fun and healthy {thank goodness!} third month and we continue to thank God for you each and every day!
