Potty Traning Update

We tried potty training just before Christmas and it didn't exactly work. For the 84,000 accidents she had, she only had one success. And that was only because I stuck her hand in a cup of warm water. I thought if she could see what it was like to go in the potty, hear us cheer for her and get a treat, she would feel so accomplished that she would instantly be potty trained. Boy was I wrong.
We had an opportunity {don't ask} to try potty training again today and we had a success on our first try! Not only a success, but a #2 success on the big potty!
Don't get me wrong- there were lots of tears. But as soon as she realized she had gone potty, she was so excited! Right away we called Daddy so he could congratulate Miss Priss. Then she got to pick a treat out of the bag of "potty treats". I totally forgot about stick-on-earrings until I saw these. She thinks she's so cool in her earrings just like mommy. Can you tell?{Thanks for the shirt, Rachel! She asks to wear her "birdie" shirt to nap every. single. day!}

Lastly, she got to pick a treat out of the candy bowl. Her pick was a candy neclace. {Aunt Kat-she loved this neclace, but next time she eats one, I'm sending her to your house with it, so the red dye can stain your furniture!}
Way to go Baby Girl! Hopefully you'll continue to potty like a big girl 'cause Santa brought you tons of big girl panties-thinking you would be potty trained by now!
