Emory meets James.

Sunday afternoon we stopped by to say hello to sweet Baby James again.
Emory got to meet him for the first time. This is the first pregnancy that Emory has actually understood what was going on.
She has been anticipating the arrival of this little one ever since she noticed Miss Chollet's belly was growing!
Ever since Tuesday morning, when I told her James was gonna be born,
she has kept telling me
"Baby James not in Miss Chollet's tummy emmy more. He's out!"
Now that she's gotten a little practice being a big sister to Watson, I'm sure she'll be a wonderful, bossy loving friend to Baby James.
All this talk about Baby James being "born", combined with learning about Easter and Jesus, has had her stating to family, friends and complete strangers alike
{while bringing her hand to her chest as only a true southern belle would}:
"I was born for Jesus."
It is so funny what the mind of a two year old can come up with...
and even funnier how they can state something so profound in such a simple way!
