Recital {Sneak Peek!}

Recital season is upon us.
That means endless hours of working on costumes.
Unpacking the shipments.
Trying on costumes.
Altering the costumes.
Hanging the costumes.
Making hairpieces.
Bagging it all into an organized package for each little dancer to take home.
The fact that it is done right, paying attention to every single detail, has always been important as the owner of the business.
This week I realized how much it means to the mommies of the little dancers, as I got to sit back and be one.
At the first of the year, the plan was for Baby Girl's class to not participate in the recital...being that they are so young. We made a last minute decision to order them costumes and let them dance in the recital when they all seemed to be doing so well in class.
This week my heart melted seeing Emory try on her very first recital costume.
Baby Girl, we cannot wait to see you up on that stage for the first time in a couple of months!
While your love of all things ballet may not last forever, seeing you enjoy something that has always meant so much to me is amazing!

Amy, she is precious! We found out this week that Ben and McLean will have a little sister! I so wish we were in Columbia so she could take dance lessons from Miss Amy. Hope you all are doing well!
