Although the weather was a little yuck, we headed out to the Rosewood Crawfish Festival for the morning. Being pregnant, I insisted our first stop be at a food tent and I may have had the second best barbeque sandwich {still light-years behind Hudson’s!} ever. Then again, even Taco Bell sounds delicious right now, so I guess that doesn’t mean much.
Shortly after, Emory spotted THE SLIDE.
{Did I ever mention Emory’s fascination with “lellow slides”? She was so sure the Easter Bunny was going to bring her one, but no such luck. So now she covets every single yellow slide she spots.}
This is by far the biggest slide she has been on, and even though she was oh-so-excited to go down it, I could tell she was a little nervous, too.
Daddy go some tickets and they began the climb up. She wasn’t quite sure she was ready to go down once she was finally up there…
At first it’s not much different than the park…
And then she realized it was waaaay longer!
She seemed a little startled by the time she got to the bottom, but insisted she had fun!
