With school and ballet out for the summer, Emory wakes up every morning expecting to have an activity to attend and asks “Mommy, where we going today?”. While we’ve got two dance camps, swimming lessons, a week of vacation Bible school and a few beach trips planned, I’m going to try to schedule a weekly outing for me, the kids, and hopefully some friends that want to tag along. Some weeks we’ll shoot for fun “field trip”-esque activities, while others will be simple, like packing a lunch and finding somewhere more fun than home to eat it.
Today was one of the simple days and we headed to the park for a picnic. Emory saw some friends from dance and played with them. Watson got to swing, and for the first time, loved it! We all enjoyed the wonderful 74 degree weather, and the kids wore themselves out and took nice long afternoon naps!

I'm so glad it's summer. I've missed your blogs!
Emory and Watson are absolutely beautiful children! I have been following your blog, since before Watson was born, but have never commented. I just adore watching these sweet babies grow. Emory is just, so "Girl!" Her expressions and her sweet face, melt the heart. She reminds me of my 10 yr. old granddaughter, Lindsey, at that age.
Watson is just as cute as they come, and growing like a weed.
Can't wait to see what this next little one will be, (besides cute, that is!) Keep the pictures coming, they are so enjoyed. God Bless your precious family!
Hugs, from a Mom-Mom in NJ
