Well kinda. The zoo was jam-packed this morning when we went! Emory wasn't feeling very well, so we didn't plan on staying too long, but we were there for almost 2 hours and covered barely a third of the zoo. We made sure to see the monkeys, though, which was all she really cared about anyways.
Watching the penguins
There they are!
Trying to see the tigers over the crowd...actually we had such a hard time seeing, we're not actually sure if we were looking at tigers. ???
Guess what she spots now?
Ooh ooh...
Aah aah!
Her absolute favorite animal...Monkeys! They were putting on quite the show!
She's super excited!
Gettin' crazy...

Watching the penguins
She needed a little recharge...mommy's iced coffee hits the spot.
We tried the carousel for the first time today, and as soon as she got on the animal she freaked out...I'm not so sure this was a good idea.
Not exactly what the ride is supposed to be, but that baby was goin' much faster than I had expected and I was slightly nervous about falling backwards off of the carousel!
She was very excited to get off. What a waste of $2.
All in all, the weather was nice, she really enjoyed the monkeys and she had fun with Aunt Jo so the trip wasn't a total loss, but never again will I go to the zoo over Spring Break!!!
