Walking by the neighbors' house, Emory spotted a swing hanging from a big tree in the front yard. She turned, pointed at the swing and, with much surprise, yelled "Yuk at da fwing!". Since I've yet to document her first full sentences (which actually happen often), we'll call this it. It was very cute and she was oh-so-excited to see a swing outside of our backyard!

We're just checking in and saying 'hello' from the beach. We've had a great first part of the week, and while the weather channel has predicted rain everyday, it has been nothing but warm, sunny perfection since we've been here!
We've been hanging out on the beach, playing in the water.
Eating doughnuts for breakfast.
Singing on the beach.
Singing on the beach, while playing in the sand. She's quite the performer! :)
And, while most kids chase something somewhat normal, such as the birds or a beach ball, Emory ran after the planes that fly by with the big advertising flags on the back, yelling "Reach! Reach!" expecting to be able to touch them. She's so quirky!
We've also done a little shopping, eaten like every meal is our last, and I've gotten a good bit done on a sewing project for Em's birthday.
Pure beach bliss if you ask me.
We've enjoyed the "girls' time" with Grandmama and Miss Julie, and now look forward to seeing Daddy, Aunt Kat and Granddaddy for the rest of the week!
