One Week Old

Hard to believe Baby Boy is already a week old! He's doing great and couldn't be a more perfect fit for our little family!

While throughout the day he wants to nurse every 2-3 hours, he's given mommy and daddy five consecutive hours of sleep for the last 3 nights, for which we are SO thankful! At his one-week checkup he weighed 8 pounds 12 ounces, proving that he is getting more than enough to eat.

He continues to entertain Baby Girl, and she has continued to love her new role as a big sister. She oh-so-lovingly has begun to refer to him as "her sugarbear". :)While there are definitely some new things we've had to learn, we are absolutely adoring our sweet baby boy!
