Dinner with Bebe

One of the many "firsts" for Watson this Christmas was attending his first dinner with Bebe. On the 23rd {aka Christmas "Adam"-as I just recently found out} we have dinner and exchange gifts with Bebe. Some years it's a nice, big, fancy dinner. Other years it's simple. But it's always served on our Christmas china in the dining room. It is by far once of my most favorite traditions during Christmas and I am so thankful to be able to continue it with my children.
While dinner was being finished, we visited with Bebe {who, as a side note, was wearing some rockin' black patent leather Tory Burch flats. I never thought I would covet the shoes of my 80-something year old aunt!} and the kids played.

There was a small meltdown at one point, but it didn't last long, and we were quickly back to normal.
Following the meltdown, there was dinner and dancing. Delicious and entertaining.
Then we opened gifts. Emory helped Bebe open her's...
And then thanked Bebe for her "penny"...which was actually cash, but right now all money is "pennies!"...which is an improvement from calling it "minnies" at first.
Thank you, Bebe, for celebrating another Christmas with us! We look forward to many, many more!

Amy,thank you so much for the comment you left on my blog. Can't say that I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that doesn't have this raising-two-kids thing down (that would be kind of disturbing), but I'm so glad there are some out there, like you, that fully understand.

Yes, it is SOOOO not easy learning to juggle but everyone who's been down this road before say that it gets better and better. Believe it or not, it's my toddler now that I'm having a hard time with, not the infant.

Merry and blessed Christmas to you! Hope you have a good year too.
