Have you missed me?

Sorry. My computer was at the doctor getting a little work done.

{Really it was only there for a day, but we'll pretend it was there since I posted last 2weeks ago.}

Blogging has been pretty low on the priority list lately as we've been busy busy bees around here.

While I had 99% of my Christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving, I've been busy wrapping gifts.

I've been busy ordering Recital costumes at the dance studio.

We were busy 3 days last weekend celebrating the wedding of our good friends.

And also sprinkled over these last couple of weeks we've had tons of Christmas parties to attend.

Of course now that things have settled down, we aren't exactly relaxing around here.

Nope, we're actually in the midst of potty training bootcamp.

Yes, I know you're jealous. But don't worry.

One day you too will get to set a mini toilet in your den, pump your kid full of juice boxes, milk and water, wipe urine off of your floor and chase your toddler around asking 'Do you want to wear Elmo or Hello Kitty?!?!?'.So far we haven't actually used the potty. Just pranced around in panties and stopped every so often to sit on the potty without actually pottying. Oh- and she watched a Christmas movie while on the potty. I think the idea to try and accomplish potty training the week before Christmas is about as brilliant as me volunteering to bring 84,000 homemade, decorated cupcakes to Em's preschool a couple of weeks after Watson was born. Hopefully in the end she'll be out of diapers and on with the rest of her life. Until then, we'll be home chillin' with our pants off, drinking as much as we can.

{And when I phrase it like that, I think Daddy would volunteer to potty train as well!}
