Moving is Hard!

And the help is sleeping on the job!image{Not-yet-cleaned floors are much cuter with chubby little feet nearby.}IMG_8673 I’m not gonna lie, the actual process of moving was one of the worst experiences ever. It didn’t help that the kids were on Spring Break and at my feet nonstop. We have no idea where half of our things are, and while I’m sure I’ll find them at some point, I’ve resorted to just going out and replacing a lot of things. I’m more than exhausted from the feeling of not being settled, but hopefully in the next few weeks {perhaps months!} we’ll start to feel a little more rooted.IMG_8671We’re slowly unpacking boxes, finding places for things and figuring out what we still need to buy. I’m quickly learning that moving is tough stuff! Luckily we’re here to stay for a very long time, if not forever. With the exception of an occasional “Mommy I can’t remember where the bathroom is!”, the kids are settling into their new space and loving exploring the new ins and outs. There are a lot of little {and some big} changes we hope to make, including the addition of a master bedroom {and bath} and knocking out a wall between the kitchen and the living room. Slowly but surely we’ll make our house a home!
