Rosie’s Easter Egg Hunt

Rosie was sweet enough to host all her little friends for an Easter egg hunt again this year.  While we waited for everyone to arrive, the girls kept themselves busy with some Easter stamps. They also stood at the door trying to get a sneak peak of the eggs!image It was hard to keep the kids from starting as we headed outside…IMG_8887 Especially once Rosie spotted an egg!image Then they were off! Emory refused to take her smaller basket, so she had a little difficulty hauling her huge basket around, but otherwise did great. Sweet Eliza was all business about the hunting!image Taylor stopped to check out all her goodies.IMG_8912 Walker got a basket full and Rosie found the golden egg with a dollar in it!! Watson clearly didn’t understand the concept and would find an egg, open it to take out the treat, then put the empty egg back where he found it! Maybe my efforts to teach the kids to put their toys back where they got them is finally working!image Precious little Walker enjoyed his egg as he sat like a big boy on the grass. image Ms. Barbara offered Watson a cookie and he couldn’t have enjoyed it more. image IMG_8936 Emory and Boland sat together to sort through her loot.IMG_8947 Watson has recently become obsessed with doing everything himself so he was kept entertained for a good 30 minutes when I let him try and put the straw in the juice box.image Thanks, Rosie, for having us over for a wonderful egg hunt! We had a great time, as always, and can’t wait to do it again next year!
