This week we headed for lunch at Moe’s after church. Boland is quite a handful when we’re trying to sit and have a meal in a civilized manner, but as soon as he hits the carseat to head home, he’s out. Cookie in hand. It’s really hard not to love the you-know-what outta him!Monday morning, the boys and I headed to Publix for our weekly grocery run. Watson and I like to play the ‘what is this?’ with the different items, and when we reached the eggs, he hollered ‘cadbury eggs!!’ with lots and lots of excitement. Looks like Grandmama has passed on an obsession…
Watson headed to his last day of preschool on Tuesday morning, dressed for his pj’s and ice cream party. {Not quite sure what kind of smile he has going on here…}
…and Ms. Barbara read them one last story in circle time. Emory didn’t begin preschool until the 2’s class, but Watson has been with this same group of kids for the past two years and it’s gonna be really sad to see them split into three separate classes next year. We’ve promised to try and continue playdates with these little friends!
Leaving preschool, Boland took a little spill and busted on the asphalt. Luckily the damage wasn’t quite as bad as it looked, but it’s hard to see his sweet little face with a boo-boo!
Taylor came over for a playdate one afternoon and then we loaded up the car to head out for birthday-eve frozen yogurt since Taylor was heading out of town for her big day. When I told the girls I wanted one more picture of them as four-year-olds, this is what I got. These divas are gonna be trouble!
A little more posing at Yummilicious…
And Boland got to sit like a big boy and eat his yogurt by himself for the first time. He was surprisingly clean when all was said and done!
With school being out, we started the potty training adventure. My plan was to potty train both boys at the same time, and at the last minute I totally chickened out. I’ll focus on successfully getting one out of diapers and then worry about the other. Fingers crossed it won’t be too bad!
I feel like I’ve done a ton of sewing lately, but mostly just for my sisters’ weddings or the dance recital. I have been stockpiling fabric for specific projects and finally decided to sit down and begin to put a dent in it. First up: 10 pairs of summer shorts for the kids. Hopefully I can crank out lots of sewing this summer!
