Late nights at the baseball games make for difficult 8:30am soccer games the next morning. Thank goodness we don’t have to look cute at all to show up to games!Post-game the boys went down for naps and Emory got a treat in the yard…
Saturday night we had some friends over for burgers. Watson has a not-so-subtle crush on Annie Parker!
The poor babies got banned from riding the jeep. Thanks goodness they have each other.
Bright and early, each and every morning, he’s the first one up and ready for breakfast. Never mind that it might be 6:30 in the morning!
And he’s happy when his brother or sister wakes up and joins him. Sometimes he’s even allowed to sit at the bar like a big kid!
Watson’s other not-so-subtle crush, Avery. And he apparently likes taller women.
Sunday night dinner at my parents. It usually means the kids don’t have to eat their dinner and they still get dessert.
Sadly the time has come for my first born boy to grow up a little, and we converted his crib to a toddler bed. He was super excited to help Daddy ‘fix it wif da tools’!
Emory gave a ‘good luck’ kiss…
and wished him luck!
He slept wonderfully. So wonderfully that he didn’t feel like he needed to take a nap the next day until about 5 minutes before dinnertime, which totally messes up our entire nighttime routine. Boo.
And while her brother was mastering his new, big boy bed, Emory was sneaking into our bed because she was having bad dreams. Cute, but way uncomfortable.
We tried for a pool day, but the weather wasn’t quite warm enough yet. Like that weird mix of I’m sweating to death outside of the pool, but way too freezing in the pool. Bummer.
Boland decided to watch and stay warm in mama’s lap.
And with pool time comes popsicle time. To the point that I can’t even argue. And this was right before dinner. Anything to keep from three kids having an evening meltdown.
Emory is definitely the caregiver of her brothers, but when she’s off at school, Watson steps up to the plate and takes great care of Boland.
He certainly loves him!
An early morning run to the grocery store while the boys were not in good moods. Solution: picked up some munchkins on the way!
And Boland loves to snack. All the time. But he refuses to eat his snacks cut up properly.
In fact, he doesn’t bother to take the grape off the stem at all. This kid is crazy. And we love him despite it.
