Not much going on in the Dupree household other than work, work, work. With recital right around the corner, things have been hectic at the studio and therefore little Em has spent lots of time with grandparents, aunts and the sweet ladies at the church nursery. Which is half of my excuse for not taking any pictures lately. The other half of the excuse being I am 16 weeks pregnant, looking like I'm 26 weeks pregnant, and as tired as if I were 36 weeks pregnant! Fetching the camera, taking it out of the case, chasing Emory to get a good shot, putting the pictures on my computer and posting them just seems to be too much work for this tired mama. But trust me, there have been LOTS of photo-worthy moments lately.
I did manage a few pictures of Emory trying on some bunny ears the other day. She prefers to wear headbands as neclaces, so it was a little confusing when the ears were growing out of her neck.
This is one of those "trying too hard" smiles, that only a mama could love!
And the pose...with a little lean to the left of course...
Her new thing lately is to walk WAAAAY close to the camera and say "cheese". It's cute to watch, but doesn't make for the best pictures...
She was very confused by me telling her this is how to wear bunny ears. But she did enjoy walking around for the next few hours saying "hop hop hop"...
Emory has asked the Easter Bunny to bring her a sandbox for the backyard, so let's hope she's a sweet girl these next couple of weeks in hopes that she'll get her wish!
