After an early morning soccer game and quick naps for the kids while Aaron and I tried to pack some moving boxes, we all headed over to Hollywood Park for Althea’s fourth birthday party!
My kids always find their way to the food right away- and today’s party snack was chex mix. A big hit! Ms. Sazy was so kind to paint faces. Lots of pirates and dragons for the boys and tiaras, butterflies and flowers for the girls.
Then it was time for cupcakes and juice boxes.
Watson discovered a fun, no-hands way to eat his cupcake.
And Hazle went no-hands with her juice box, too.
Despite being dressed for the afternoon’s big rain, the kids were excited to play on the playground and jump in the jump castle.
Watson explored the playground by himself for the first time. Up the stairs, down the slides, through the tunnels. He loved every second of it and was so proud of himself. We have the ruined pants and keds to prove it.
Thanks, Althea, for letting us celebrate your fourth birthday with you!
