It’s hard to believe it’s already time to celebrate James turning ONE! I was so excited to help Chollet plan a special ‘Rubber Ducky’ party for the special birthday boy and I think it turned out so cute!
The birthday boy was decked out in his ducky outfit… And his mama made the cutest ‘swimming duckies’ centerpieces by adding bubble bath to blue jello! Brilliant! The duck pinata was adorable as well.
The guest got to enjoy a delicious barbeque dinner with all the fixins’…and coordinating silverware of course.
Chollet and I will use any excuse for a wine night and these cookies were a great one! One night of cookie baking, plus one night of decorating, made for TWO great girls nights! And precious cookies. :)
There was also delicious banana pudding, and my kids’ favorite, marshmallow pops!
After dinner there were plenty of activities for the little ones. There were bouncy houses…one for the little ducklings’ and one for the ‘bigger ducks’.
My favorite part-the ducky crayons! Perfect for the littlest guests to scribble with during the party, and even better to take home a few in the goody bags!
And then it was time for cake …and cupcakes.
The birthday boy wasn’t excited about wearing his party hat, but as is usual, the cake was the perfect distraction.
He seemed to enjoy his smash cake!
What a proud mommy and daddy!
While all of the fabulous ducky details made for a wonderful party, the precious party goers made the day extra sweet!
Thanks for letting us celebrate your wonderful day with you, Sweet Baby James! Happy first birthday! We love you!

I, of course, love this blog. :) Thank you for all your help, Amy. I had a blast planning and 'crafting' with you. This special first bithday party would not have been the same without each and every Dupree!
