Emory and I took a little day trip to Tigersville yesterday to visit Miss Gracie and her momma. It was LONG overdue and well worth the drive. Both Em and Gracie weren't in the best of moods when we got there, so it was mostly "parallel" play, as in they didn't really acknowledge each other at all!
The girls ate lunch then went down for naps and Kelli and I got to visit, which always turns out to be a wonderful few hours of therapy for these pregnant mommas! The girls woke up rejuvenated and spent a good while playing and coloring.
The day seemed to fly by, so we headed out for a quick dinner in Greer before Emory and I got back on the road. Of course, by this time the girls were actually warming up to each other and could have played together for hours longer!
{We could never get both of them to smile at the same time...not to mention that Gracie doesn't really love to have her picture taken. Can you tell who adores being in front of the camera?!?}
Waiting for our food, Gracie was kind enough to hand feed Em some of her crackers. :)
We tried to get the girlies to pose on the just-their-size bench...
But we settled for high-fives instead of smiles.
This is likely the last time we'll have a picture of just the 4 of us...with Baby Dupree due in September and Baby Staggs due in November!
