Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jig

Isn't that a song? Lately I've been saying things that I would swear are real "sayings", but people (Aaron) tell me otherwise. Maybe this is some weird third-trimester pregnancy sympton. Nothing surprises me anymore.
Well, home again we are. We (I) have about 10 loads of laundry to do, a birthday-cake-baking kitchen to clean, dance camp to teach, beach bags to unpack and birthday thank you-notes to write.
All with about zero energy.
For that reason, and because I haven't even taken my camera out of the bag from Em's birthday, I'm linking to Michelle's blog, who so graciously took pictures (great ones!)at Emory's party and blogged them. Thanks, Michelle!
Em is enjoying all of the gifts she received, especially the play kitchen from Grandmama and Granddaddy. And all the accessories from her aunts. She should enjoy it, as I spent approximately 4 hours putting the 50+ pieces (and over 150 screws!) together. It was worth it, though, when this afternoon she continuously served me fake food on her little plate with a fork and asked "Ya Yike It?". Yes, Baby Girl, Mommy "yikes" it.
(ignore the swiffer and the pile of stuff for Goodwill) On a less cute note, Baby #2 had a check up today and is measuring small (like Em), which means this bun could be in the oven for 41 full weeks, just like his or her big sister. Bummer. At the beginning of this pregnancy I was measuring a little bigger, giving me hope I might actually deliver before my due date. Oh well.
I'm taking a small blog hiatus starting now and ending when I have something other than Emory's birthday to talk about. :)

Yay! We finally are online again! We are SO SO SO sad that we had to miss Emory's birthday! The pictures Michelle took are gorgeous (of you too!). Our little girls are so grown up! We have a special treat for Em the next time we see you. Which HAS to be soon, because I'm going through serious withdrawal :o( We love you guys so much! Happy Birthday Princess Emory!
