I apologize in advance...this is absolute picture overload. Our day was "well documented" by yours truly, and I totally understand that no one other than family is likely interested. Feel free to ignore this post, but I'll also warn you that her birthday party is on Sunday, so there will be a little more birthday posting through the weekend. :)
On her "Emory is Special Today" plate...
Aunt Boo called to wish Em a Happy Birthday. Em informed her she was "tuuuu" and was drinking "tocat miyk" (chocolate milk).
Once we were dressed and ready and walking down to the beach, it started drizzling. We tried to wait it out for a little while, but the weather never cleared, so we packed the car and headed to lunch. Birthday Girl ate fries and ketchup for lunch. Didn't touch her hamburger.
And drank "tea", which was actually sprite, but anything with a straw is called tea.
If you've ever been so lucky as to have had a meal with Emory, you'd know we don't get through said meal with any less than about 20 "cheers"! Today was no exception. Cheers Aunt Jo!
The Birthday Girl got oreo ice cream after her lunch as well. Of course during the 2 seconds I put my camera down to eat my lunch, Emory takes a bite, closes her eyes and says "ummmmmm" as she savors her bite of ice cream. It was too funny!
