My-oh-my, how two years flew by.
Baby Girl is no longer, well, a baby.
(one day old)
Her first birthday, while a celebration for her, was very much a celebration that Mommy and Daddy made it through their first year as parents. We were still finding our everyday routine, as each day was different than the one before, and Emory was growing into her own little person.
(10 days old, her first beach trip)
Today, her 2nd birthday, is definitely all about her!
She knows she's "tuuuu".
She's excited to open "pesents".
(Which were so much fun to pick out, knowing what she loves to play with!)
She'll tell you she's a "big girl" and not a "baby".
The baby is "mommy in tummy". :)
We're celebrating her big day (the whole week) back at the beach, beginning with a breakfast of champions... a fresh Krispy Kreme doughnut (with sprinkles!) and chocolate milk, courtesy of Granddaddy.
More fun to come today...all the while, I'll be holding back tears knowing that my Baby Girl is growing much too fast for my liking. At least I get to blame it on pregnancy (31 weeks...yay!) hormones this year.
