This morning, while Daddy headed off to participate in the Mud Run, the kids and I decided to meet up with Jack to check out Edventure’s Big Wheels exhibit. Baby Girl wasn’t exactly into the trucks {surprise, surprise} and Baby Boy was confined to his stroller, so we cut our trip short and headed to meet Daddy for lunch.
We ventured downtown to check out Viva la Vista. We decided against the stand-up-and-eat-festival-food for our lunch since we had both kids in tow, but after lunch we walked around to check out the booths, in search of dessert. Emory decided on ice cream, then found a cool{er} spot of shade in the doorway of a store.
We were well past naptime, so we headed back to the car. Some of us caught a ride on Daddy’s shoulders.
This girl could not be more of a daddy’s girl.
She wakes up each morning in hopes that she’s gotten up early enough to see her Daddy, asking “Is Daddy go to work yet?”.
She loves Saturdays and Sundays when Daddy gets to stay home and play.
In her eyes, Daddy can do no wrong.
And, for the record, Baby Boy joined us as well. He was perfectly content snuggling with his lovey in the stroller.
