As the kids get older, Christmas morning gets more and more fun!
Emory woke up sick and I was scared it would absolutely ruin the day. She was quite a trooper though. She did her best to find some energy to show her excitement and really didn’t whine one bit, but clearly was feeling worse as the day went on.
Daddy brought Watson and Emory {straight outta bed….look at their hair!} down to see what Santa left for them. Emory immediately spotted her dress-up clothes! Then she turned her head and spotted a Jeep Power Wheels. She said in a raspy little sick voice, “Look, Buddy Boy! Dat’s a car when can bof ride on!”
Watson {with his bed head and too-small, unbuttoned pajamas} didn’t know what was going on. Not to mention he had been woken up 2 hours earlier than usual.
Emory brought him a car from his Santa pile.
The kids checked out the plate to see if Santa and the reindeer ate their treats.
Emory thought it was hilarious that Santa drank all of the milk, while Watson thought he’d help himself to the treats Santa didn’t eat!
I can’t imagine how much the kids will love the Jeep once they can actually drive it, because they were highly entertained without it moving anywhere!
Baby Boland enjoyed the morning from the comfort of the couch.
Emory was excited to find a zhu zhu pet in her stocking, after I told her she couldn’t have one.
And Watson was still enjoying the cookies instead his toys.
He finally got interested when he spotted some trains.
Daddy opened some of his toys and tested them out.
Emory tested out her new lip gloss. Not just any lip gloss. Disney princess lip gloss!
Santa was good to all three of the kids and at 7:45am, we wrapped things up at our house to head over to Grandmamma and Granddaddy’s house to begin our full day of Christmas celebrations!
