The Toddler classes at the preschool dress-up as little dalmatians each year and parade around with their ‘firefighter’ teachers for Halloween. I dressed Watson in his spotted shirt and collar, and told him to bark, to which he responded, I not ruff ruff mama! I is a cow! Um, okay.
After getting their ‘ears’ on and buckling into the strollers, I caught a glimpse of them parading around the school. A few of the kids cried when they saw their mommies. Watson could have cared less that I was there, and didn’t want to get out, but instead acted as if he was WAY too cool to be doing something so babyish.
It seemed to be a common thought amongst all the little dalmatians.
It was a quick stroll and then back to the classroom for Halloween cupcakes and snacks.
While he didn’t enjoy his parade while it was going on, he came home talking about it and his class party. He’s loved celebrating the holidays with his school friends!
