We met up with Michelle, Jack and Sam for another playdate at the pumpkin patch, just like last year and the year before!
Because we can only really meet up after preschool, it’s usually lunch and naptime so some of us {ahem, Boland} were a little uncooperative. Baby Boy hid behind his sippy cup for the first little while.
Sam was all smiles however, and Watson was content so long as he had his red shades.
I wanted a nice, sweet picture of all three kids while we were there. When will I learn that that’s not possible?Yet we were some how able to get all five {5!} kids to sit and look at the camera at once.
But not for long.
There boys had more important things to do…like comparing sunglasses.
Boland finally started to smile!
But it was back to the paci in no time at all. {Makes for a happier baby, but not the best pictures.}
I tried for a sibling picture again.
And again failed, although I think this one is pretty funny.
Jack and Emory found a giant pumpkin and tried to lift it. It was very cute that they really thought they might be able to!
Then the big kids had themselves a little ‘roar’ing contest. {I think Jack may have won.}
But I think the highlight of the day was the pumpkin rolling! They found another giant one and enjoyed rolling off of the front of it.
The rolls weren’t exactly Olympic material, but the kids were literally rolling on the ground in laughter each time.
Watson gave Emory a turn, which really meant he let her lay on the pumpkin then he pushed her off! She thought it was all in good fun and seemed to enjoy it just the same.
We had a blast hanging out and running around the pumpkin patch! I love that we’ve made it a fall tradition and we look forward to next year’s playdate!

We had so much fun! I kind of wish the pumpkin patch were there year 'round! Oh, and Jack said he's going to ask Hosanna (that's what he calls Santa) for some glasses that go on his ears like Watsons! :)
