I can’t believe how fast the summer is flying by, and as much fun as we’re having, I’m already thinking we’ve overscheduled ourselves a bit. Thank goodness for a being able to pick up and head to the beach for a while, as it’s a nice break from our go-go-go schedule at home. Lately our days have been filled with…

:: heading to get our ears lowered :::: and sportin’ new do’s and lollipops afterward :::: trying a new squash casserole recipe :::: flirting at VBS day three :::: wearing ‘conuctor’ outfits :::: learning to take pictures of himself :::: vacuuming while in uniform…swoon :::: singing loud at the VBS day four performance :::: insisting on using the stairs on our own :::: and refusing to hold anyone’s hand but ‘E-E’s’ :::: having cousin playdates :::: having a date night on the back deck while grilling some fresh fish and veggies :::: crankin’ out some clothes for the boys :::: enjoying a couple days of being kid-less ::

:: helping daddy put the kayak in the water ::::wishing he could ride too :::: some more sewing :::: snuggling :::: snuggling while watching baseball :::: watching our tomatoes grow :::: eating ‘like we’re at Hooligans’ when daddy works late :::: mastering self-spoon-feeding :::: hanging out with mommy at dance camp :::: practicing ‘rock, paper, scissors’ during acrobatics :::: going to see Brave :::: showing off some drivin’ skills :::: even more sewing :::: heading out for a surprise date night with mommy and daddy, including dinner… :::: …after dinner yogurt… :::: …and a broadway show! ::
