Four Years and Counting!

It's hard to believe it's been four whole years since I forced Aaron to wear a "penguin" suit and do the most dreaded thing possible in front of all of our family and friends...dance with me!! He was a champ, however, and two days later, on our flight to Italy, he quietly admitted that he "actually had fun" at the wedding. :)

While the last four years seemed to have flown by, looking back, it's funny to think of all that's happened since then.

In four years, we've bought our first house (and all but grown out of it!), changed jobs, bought a small business, mourned the loss of a pregnancy, celebrated the healthy delivery of our sweet baby girl and now wait in anticipation for the arrival of our second born.

While the good has most definitely outweighed the bad, the hard times were ones that I am equally as thankful for, as they quickly taught us what marriage is really about. I cannot imagine anyone I'd want to share both the ups and the downs with more than the wonderful man I get to call my husband.

Because it is our anniversary, we'll pretend he has not a single fault. Instead I'll focus on the fact that...

He is the very best Daddy to my Baby Girl I could ever ask for.

He knows where the vacuum is and he isn't afraid to use it!

He never fails to surprise me. (Although I'm definitely not expecting any sort of surprise right now, as he's nervous he may surprise me right into labor and miss his oh-so-inconveniently scheduled boys trip next weekend!)

He can grill a mean steak (he learned from the best, Dad!), and this girl prefers a good steak over a dozen roses any day!

I could go on and on, but a) you probably don't care, b) there is a chance Aaron will read this and I have to keep him somewhat grounded, and c) dirty laundry is calling my name.

Happy anniversary, Aaron! Here's to many many more! (The champagne is chilled and ready for a toast in a couple of weeks!) I love you!
{And Happy Anniversary to you and I, Kelli!! Thought I'd forget, didn't you!??! Eight whole years and almost four babies...Wow! Love you!}

Oh- and doesn't it make you want to be sick when you see how skinny you were on your wedding day? I have a hard time looking at the pictures sometimes! :o) We will be skinny, hot mamas again soon!
