After eating breakfast on the go all week (we had to be at the dance studio at 8:30 each morning), Em and I slept in and had a late breakfast of pancakes while Daddy went to the gym. Of course Emory had a hand in the preparation.

We like to spice up our boxed pancake mix sometimes, and this morning we chose to add chocolate chips. More went in her "mouf" than in the batter. When I tried to pour some in the bowl, she said "no, mine!".
She enjoyed them (on her precious monogrammed place mat...thanks Miles girls!) ...
...then realized she had been caught stuffing her face!
With full bellies, we're off to conquer some major baby preparation projects today. After much annoyance regarding the crib bedding, I finally began cutting the fabric yesterday, so hopefully I'll have some progress to show soon in that department! Daddy has a mile-long "honey-do" list to accomplish, and Em, I'm sure, will continue to tell us, "no, mine!" as we move all of her old baby stuff into the nursery. Happy Saturday to you!
