I know that usually describes the "military haircut", but "high and tight" is all I could think about this morning when I would look (and laugh) at Emory. In a rush to get to school on time, I was only half paying attention while fixing her hair, resulting in pigtails that were a little higher than normal. They must have been slightly tighter as well because her little eyes were slanted for the first ten minutes she had them in! 
She didn't seems to care, however. I guess we can't be beauty queens everyday!
By the way...the school fundraiser COOKIE DOUGH SALE has commenced! Consider yourself asked to buy something upon reading this!! It's all for a good cause...I mean every preschool needs an indoor magic treehouse*, right?!?! {Please note: Family members are always required to buy double.} *I'm not entirely sure that's what it buys, but it was some such nonesense that sounded like that.
