This week Daddy joined us for our weekly field trip and we headed out to a Columbia Blowfish baseball game. It was extra entertaining since my cousin, Stephen, plays for the Florence Red Wolves, who were in town playing the Blowfish. It also happened to be “Bark in the Park” night, which meant fans could bring their dogs, and Emory was fascinated. {We constantly hear “I need a puppy for my house!” these days!} Emory stopped every so often to watch the game {and cheer!}, while Watson tried some boiled peanuts. Funny story: I totally forgot that babies shouldn’t have peanuts until after 12 months {since the chance of an allergy is so high}, until he had eaten about a dozen. Looks like he’s not highly allergic {which is good}, but I’m on the lookout for hives for the next few days! Oops!
Baby Boy always seems to find his Aunt Boo {and something to chew on}!
Emory enjoyed having free reign of a full section and bounced around from seat to seat all night long.
We turned our attention back to the field when Stephen was at bat…
But then it was back to the attractions…this time Blowie, the mascot {who, unbeknownst to Emory, was Aunt Boo’s boyfriend, Alex, who is working for the Blowfish during his internship.}
Watson got lots of love and attention from Aunt Brenda {Stephen’s mom} and was happy as could be!
But he was a little more hesitant to love on Blowie!
All the action wore Baby Boy out, and Emory got to show off the Blowfish t-shirt that Alex brought her.
The Red Wolves beat the Blowfish and we hung around to give Stephen a big high-five. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening out and can’t wait to do it again when the Red Wolves are back in town!

Looks like a good time was had by all of you. I so envy Watson getting to have boiled peanuts. I just love them! My Mom was born and raised in South Carolina, Even though I was born in New Jersey, I was lucky enough to be raised on a lot of good southern food! Now I want some boiled peanuts!!! Love Emory and Watson's outfits. Emory has such a beautiful smile, and Watson has those huge brown eyes! To cute for words! You are totally blessed with healthy and gorgeous babies. Thanks for sharing your trips.
Hugs!
