After her party we had some family and friends over to the house for a cookout. When we got home, I had a handful of things to finish up in the kitchen for dinner and I asked Emory to wait a few minutes before she opened her gifts. She sat in the den with as much patience as she could muster {and as much as is possible for a 3 year old!}, and when I finally came in, she had peaked into a few of the gift bags. :)
I {unfortunately} looked a lot more tired than I actually was when we began tearing into presents…But watching Emory’s genuine excitement as she opened each gift was cute enough to wake me right up!
Baby Boy {and his cute little gut} watched from the sidelines, hoping to find a new toy to chew on.
Sweet Callie Boo watched, too, and I’m sure was eyeing a toy she hoped to take home!
Some guests were a little less enthusiastic about the gifts, but watched nonetheless.
Emory was just as interested in hearing what the cards said.
Baby James picked out a fun pink microphone for Baby Girl that I know will become a favorite!
And this is the reaction we got when she heard the next gift was from “Quiet” {her crush, Wyatt, from school}!
It sure is tiring opening all those gifts!
Baby Boy helped us keep track of all the fun gifts Baby Girl received. Exciting toys, new Barbies, movies, baby doll clothes, playdoh sets, and a few gift certificates for fun activites around town, just to name a few!
I’m sure Emory will be entertained for hours upon end with all her new toys!
