I had already begun planning Emory’s 3rd birthday party when she began begging to have her party at Leapin’ Lizards {an indoor, inflatable play-center}. I was a little crushed to hear she wanted a “packaged” party where I didn’t get to decorate at all, but as the day drew near, it did prove to be much easier than in past years to prepare for! From the moment she asked for her party, she began counting down the days until it was finally here. She helped me to make a list of who to invite, pick invitations and pick what kind of cupcakes she wanted {pink, of course!}.
We arrived a little early to the party and the excitement on her face as she waited for her friends to arrive was worth all the money in the world!
And arrive they did!
Kids from school… Girls from ballet…
Cousins…
Family Friends.
She even allowed her baby brother to play!
The kids ran around for about an hour, jumping, sliding and having a blast!
Emory was beside herself that “Quiet” {her “boyfriend” from school} came to her party and they didn’t leave each others’ side for most of the party. :)
Emory had such a wonderful time and enjoyed each and every friend that came to celebrate her big day with her.
Next up…Emory’s Birthday Party: Part II!!!!
