While we were at the beach for Memorial Day weekend, we took the kids to play putt-putt. Emory had been once before, but it was Watson’s first time. They both loved every minute of it!
It took Watson a while{and Aunt Jo} to figure out how to swing the club.
Emory got the hang of it, but preferred to pose instead of play.
She wanted her picture taken by the sign at the third hole, because ‘mommy! I is three!’, but then wanted a picture by the fouth hole too, because 'next I’ll be four!’.
Watson recovered from the allergic reaction to his spider bite, but his poor little calf stayed swollen for a couple of days, and he kept reaching for it, saying ‘ boo-boo, mama! boo-boo!’. We played at a pirate-themed course, and Watson loved climbing through the pirate ships.
The adults had a fun time too, especially Aunt Jo and Daddy, who each made a hole-in-one!
The special effects caught Emory off guard the first few times, and the kid jumped a mile each time. After 18 holes…
and a few more pictures…
Emory was crowned the ‘winner’ and received the grand prize of one dollar. She was SO excited!
We missed our sweet baby Boland, but had a fantastic time with the big kids!
